Aus4Adaptation is a five year, AUD35 million investment by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) designed to support Vietnam’s climate adaptation objectives. As a flagship initiative under the Australia–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the program strengthens bilateral climate resilience cooperation and represents a strategic opportunity to deepen Australia’s engagement in the region. Aus4Adaptation is implemented by Palladium on behalf of the Australian Government.
Aus4Adaptation aligns with the Government of Vietnam’s climate goals at the national and provincial level through supporting implementation of Vietnam’s National Adaptation Plan and the Mekong Delta Sustainable Development Master Plan. The program also reflects Australia’s development priorities under the Australia–Vietnam Development Partnership Plan 2025–2030, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, gender equality, disability inclusion, and locally led solutions.
