Updates on Outgoing letters to the Government from 16 - 23 Aug 2024
From 16 to 23 August 2024, AusCham joined Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) to make comments on various legal issues of the Government. Specifically:
- Banking Working Group (enclosed OL No. 16082024BWGVBF): Consolidated comments on Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN, which regulates the opening and use of payment accounts at payment service providers;
- Banking Working Group (enclosed OL No16082024VBFBWG): Submission on the difficulties in implementing Circular 08/2024/TT-NHNN regulating the management, operation, and use of the national interbank e-payment system;
- Digital Economy Working Group (enclosed OL No.VBF22824): Consolidated comments on the Draft Data Law;
- Digital Economy Working Group (enclosed OL No. VBF228241): Consolidated comments on the Draft Law on Digital Technical Industry.
(VBF serves as a regular and high-level channel of communication between the business community and Vietnamese Government, the VBF is widely recognized as an important actor and reliable partner in shaping reforms that provides concrete results towards delivering a better business environment in Vietnam.
